We’ll be teaching a mixture of songs we love and some of our own original compositions in the amazing Grand Hall. It will be an inclusive and fun-filled weekend bursting with harmony, and a celebration of community singing.

Food and accommodation is not included.
If you are 18-30 years old we are offering limited spaces at a price of £40 for the entire weekend.
The Grand Pavilion is a beautiful building which first opened in 1910, and is currently being restored. There is no lift, and access to the Hall requires climbing two levels of stairs. The space is not wheelchair accessible.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you into the amazing Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath for a weekend of singing. Listed below is all the information you need for the weekend including suggestions of where to stay and how to travel.
TICKETS
Standard ticket: £95
Ticket price includes access to all the singing.
Accommodation and food is not included.
If you're 18-30 we have a discounted price of £40 for the entire weekend.
SCHEDULE
From Friday 19.00 until Sunday at 13.00
Detailed scheduled will be available a few weeks before the event.
FAQS
Do I need to be able to read music?
No. Everything will be taught by ear. No sheet music will be given out. We want to encourage singers of all levels of experience to join us. There is no requirement to read music.
Do I need singing experience?
No. We encourage singers of all levels of experience to join us, which includes those who are workshop regulars to those people exploring singing for the first time.
Access
Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible. There is no lift, and access to the hall requires climbing two levels of stairs. The venue is making plans to rectify this for future events. If you'd like to sing with us and need better access, have a look at our weekend in Cirencester
Refund & cancellation policy
If you need to cancel we will offer a full refund on your ticket price up until 04.04.25. Cancellations after 04.04.25 will be offered a 50% refund. We cannot offer a refund for cancellations after 30.05.25.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the weekend we will aim to reschedule. If the rescheduled dates don’t work for you then we will organise a full refund.

There are hourly Monday to Saturday train services to Matlock Bath from Derby, Long Eaton, Beeston and Nottingham. Trains are every two hours on Sundays.
There are frequent bus services to Matlock Bath from all the major surrounding towns and cities. Bus services stop just next to the train station.

PARKING
Temple Road carpark is the closest long stay location. It is £6 for a full day.
The Pavilion carpark is maximum 2 hours, so don’t be tempted to park there.

Matlock Bath is affectionately known as the ‘seaside town of Derbyshire’ with its vintage arcades and numerous fish ’n chip outlets. We’ll send round some good suggestions nearer the time.
